About Me

I joined re-enacting because we home school our children and this is a great way to teach them their heritage. I also joined because I have a passion for the antibellum fashion.

About Me

"The Lincoln administration required that we raise 75,000 troops to supress this rebellion... tell them we have done so."

"Give them the black flag...no quarter to the violators of our homes and hearths."

-Gen. Thomas (Stonewall) Jackson

I am a firm believer in truth and liberty, and sometimes secession is the only way to achieve both. I am proud to have the opportunity to recreate only a small portion of the struggle that my relatives and so many others endured to protect their homes and their way of life.

About Me

Gentlemen,

I am currently the commander of the 1st Corps of the Army of Northern Virginia, which is commanded by the Great General Robert E. Lee. The Palmetto Partisan Rangers is a very impressive group. Each member is the kind of person that, when called upon to support the cause, joined the Partison Rangers to defend their homeland, protect their families and to provide for their Children and their Children's Children a better way of Life..For that I am Truly Greatfull..          Lt. General  James Longstreet

About Me

I never really knew much about history in the United States until I met my friend, Cheryl. Her and her family  started reenacting in civil war battles and I decided I would go with them one time. Know I'm hooked, I really enjoy participating during the battles. It's been very educational for me. I am looking forward to continuing to learn and hopefully also teaching others.

I am a good old rebel, that is just what I am
For this fair land of freedom I do not care a damn
I'm glad I fought against it but I only wished I'd won
And I don't want a pardon for anything I've done

I hate the constitution, this great republic too
I hate the Freedman's Bureau in uniforms so blue
I hate the nasty eagle with all the brag and fuss
And the lying, thieving Yankees, I hate 'em worse and worse

I hate the Yankee nation and everything they do
I hate the Declaration of Independence too
I hate the glorious Union, 'tis dripping with our blood
And I hate their Yankee banner and I fought it all I could

I followed old Marse Robert for four year near about
Got wounded in three place and starved at Point Lookout
I caught the rheumatism a-campin' in the snow
But I caught a choice of Yankees and I wish I'd caught some more

Three hundred thousand Yankees lie stiff in Southern dust
We got three hundred thousand before they conquered us
They died of Southern fever, Southern steel and shot
And I wish it was three million instead of what we got

I can't take up my musket and fight 'em now no more
But I ain't goin' to love 'em now that's certain sure
And I don't want no pardon for what I was and am
And I won't be reconstructed and I don't give a damn
